As with the use of any CPAP battery, run times can be lowered by the following factors:

• Pressure Setting: The higher the pressure, the more effect on the battery.
• Altitude: More power is used at higher altitudes.
• Humidification: The use of a heated humidifier may reduce battery life by more than half.
• Inverters: Similar to the heated humidifiers, inverters can take up significant battery life. Therefore, if a DC option is available, use a compatible cord to achieve an improved battery life.
• Battery Age: Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries will progressively decrease their maximum charge as they mature.
